scoliosis, and that is undesirable and even dangerous? The answer to this question depends on several factors, because scoliosis can affect the spine, curvature of the spine is simple and complex, and the degree of deformation is divided into four categories. Where it comes to “classic” forms of scoliosis, it is recommended to the patient exercises can be generic, if the disease is severe and is accompanied by various complications, exercises are developed on an individual basis, the group classes physical therapy to such patients is not recommended.

Asymmetric sports (badminton, fencing, classic rowing, shot put) contraindicated even when I degree of scoliosis, the classes are mixed (volleyball, wrestling, football) are allowed with certain limitations only when the scoliosis I and II degree, but symmetrical species (skiing, swimming, Cycling, horse riding) is not contraindicated for people suffering from scoliosis.

A special role in the choice of physical activity for scoliotic, play swimming. Therapeutic swimming, that is, complexes of corrective exercises performed in the pool, even shown patients with scoliosis III and IV degree.
